I have not posted for ages. And now that I'm posting it's about something COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT.
It's of no importance whatsoever...but...I want me some Steampunk jewelry!!!
Hot damn, there are some gorgeous things out there and they're exactly my taste and all this time I've been thinking there's simply no one who makes the kind of jewelry that I want to wear. I was wrong!
Must order everything....NOW. Look at all the pretty!

Lately I've been a bit busy and a bit stressed and I haven't felt like cooking.
So I resort to my version of take-out.
Salads. A supermarket near me sells the most delicious meal-salads. It's usually got chicken or shrimp, a whole lot of veggies, a little pasta or potatoes mixed in, some cheese, a nice dressing. It's heaven. i don't have to cook, I can eat it straight out of the bowl it comes in, so I don't have to do dishes either, except for my fork.
Today they were out of salads so I made my own: Oak leaf lettuce, carrot, red onion, tuna, cashew nuts, garlic croutons and garlic dressing...
I could eat this shit every day ^_^

My lap has been kidnapped by a kitten. Well, not exactly a kitten, more of a cat. She's at least six years old and pretty heavy too. She's been camping out in my garden. I fed her, now she refuses to leave (as if I's let her).
I took her in for a night when it was cold. She was nervous and pooped and peed on my carpet. Yay >.<
Last night I took her in again. Today I took her to the vet, who told me she's not chipped. My neighbour is helping me look for the owner, since I'm not home a lot because of work. After the vet I decided not to let her out again tonight. She seems less nervous now, and a lot more comfortable inside.
She's been sleeping on my lap for the last half hour and she's purring like a little purring machine.
What the hell I'm I going to do now?
Any tips on rehousebreaking a kitteh?

12:14 am - New year's resolutions

What's your new year's resolution?
I've been getting a headstart on mine.
I've been dieting for a few weeks. And it's been working very well ^_^. I'm participating in the new years dive again this year (if all goes well) and I wanted to tone up a little before that. Also I've done my taxes, reorganised all my other paper shit and hopefully will be reorganising my closet too before the new year comes around.
It's kind of a nice calm, quiet, satisfied feeling to have the irritating stuff out of the way before new years instead of putting it off to do in the new year as usual.
So my actual resolutions....
I want to spend more time chatting to (online) friends, because I've totally been neglecting them.
And I want to work up the nerve to say something to the guy I like. Anybody got useful advice?
So what's yours?

I had visitors today.
they came to look at my new home, and I made them dinner. And one of them had wine. And I had another bottle myself. and I drank one.
One being...one bottle.
Damn but that hit me hard.
And there mucho good news!!! It's snowing, has been snowing all day. And it's good snow too. the sticky kind. I really need to build something with it. But'it's already late and I have to work tomorrow and first sleep off the wine XD
